Ales have been around for thousands of years, while the first lager beers emerged a mere 500 to 600 years ago. In this course we will explore the history and development of ale and lager beer while tasting a variety of interpretations available in the current market. There are no prerequisites for this class, but we do recommend taking Beer 101 first to get the most out of this session.
